Surf Camps Australia: Barton Lynch Surf Camps Announced For Spring 2020

While we have been running these camps on Sydney’s Northern Beaches for the last 5 years I just have been to busy to focus on its expansion but it is one of the positives we can find in this covid time, with all my work for WSL, Perfect Wave and Hurley cancelled the camps was something I could focus on.

In the next Spring school holidays and moving forward we will be running camps in several of the East Coasts surfing Hubs of the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Port Macquarie. And I have several other discussions going on for other areas to come on as well.

We have such great partners and surfers working with us on these camps, In Port Macquarie Corey Einfield and his team from Soul Surfing will host while on the Sunshine Coast former professional surfer and good friend Robbie Sherwall’s XL Surfing Academy will be hosting an intermediates camp. On the Gold Coast 5 time Australian Champion Mark Richardson and his team including Jay Phillips and Dingo Morrison will host and share the stoke with the kids.

For the first time we will be offering Learn to Surf beginner camps so if you haven’t surfed before then get into it this summer.

Camps are limited to 30 kids.

Meet The Crew: Beau Mitchell
Beau Mitchell is a Surfer and Skateboarder who grew up at Manly on Sydney’s northern Beaches. Beau was lucky enough to have Barton Lynch as his coach and Mentor his whole career. Beau was a professional surfer for just over 15 years and he was the GPB World Junior Champion in 2002.

Meet The Crew: Corey Enfield
Corey Enfield was the co-founder of Soul Surfing surf school in 2007 but has been a surf coach since 2003. He has been teaching the fundamentals of surfing to all walks of life from right around the globe. Corey has nailed the process and delivers it with patience, precision and a personalised approach and is confident every student will leave a better surfer.

Meet The Crew: Surfing Services Australia
Surfing Services Australia is a Gold Coast based family owned and operated by Mark Richardson ( Richo) and his wife Bianca. Together with their team of elite coaches they share their passion and love of the sport to people of all ages and abilities. Richo has won 5 x Australian Surfing Championships plus multiple state titles himself and is the former Australian Team Juniour Coach who helped these teams to win a combined of six gold medals. He coaches many of our Australian Juniour’s up snd coming as well as  WQS & WSL Surfers.  Richo and his team help progress their surfers through all levels of surfing achieving the individuals goals. Our team shares the passion with you of standing up for the first time on a surfboard while extending their ability through our expert advice for all levels from beginners to advanced high surfers.

Meet The Crew: Robbie Sherwell
He is a previous professional surfer, competing on the world circuit for over 10 years including begin rated number 5 in the world at one time. Robbie has captained the surfing team to visit Tahiti 1996, is a sports ambassador for the Sunshine Coast 1994 and currently provides the surf reports for local newspapers and radio stations.
